Camp Overview

An Outdoor Experience Like No Other
This isn’t your average day camp. Kids will step into an exciting 3-day, 2-night experience where they’ll learn how to move as a team, build a shelter, make fire, navigate the land, face physical challenges, and reconnect with nature. The kids will be pushed out of their comfort zone and encouraged to face their fears, feelings, and learn what they are truly capable of.

Led by a team of passionate instructors — including veterans, athletes, and survival trainers, this program is designed to challenge, empower, and inspire.

My son had an amazing experience at the commando kids camp although it was tough it encouraged him to work harder and harder and he accomplished everything he imagined. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend to anyone considering this camp. He will be back next year.

I would like to thank Jeff and other coaches for running a survival camp for kids in July 2025. It was an incredible experience for my son. He returned from this camp with a sense of accomplishment and inner knowing that he can survive physical and mental challenges. As a parent, I enjoyed having deeper conversations with my son about friendship, teamwork, self-drive, and perseverance. He told me that no kid has given up despite having an opportunity to ring a bell if it was too difficult. No more complaints about sleeping on his 'hard' mattress (sleeping on "pinecones" noted) or being too picky with home food (remembers eating the best smoky sausages that kids had to cook without any adult assistance). He is looking forward for the next opportunity to train with MLK staff!

We had an amazing experience with this obstacle course! The 20 exciting obstacles are perfectly crafted to engage and challenge kids, from climbing walls and balance beams to tunnels and rope climbs. The supervised session with experienced staff ensured safety and guidance, helping children navigate with confidence. Parents can join in the fun or accompany their child. Tailored for ages 5 to 9, the course promotes physical fitness and coordination while building confidence and teamwork skills. Highly recommended for a fun, engaging activity!

Had my son’s 13th bday here, great experience for the boys, they learned a lot and had a great time. Jeff was an excellent, supportive teacher :).

We had our youth hockey team complete the obstacle course and were very impressed with the whole day. It definitely challenged the kids but they worked together and all crossed the finish line. I highly recommend Okanagan Warriors Adventure!
